Whole School Project

Our whole school project provided an opportunity for everyone in our school to make a contribution to National Reconciliation Week. This year every person in our school was invited to decorate a paper cutout to represent themselves, then these were joined together and displayed in our front office. The variety of decorations demonstrated diversity and how we can each take action, while the joining together showed how it takes all of us to make a difference for reconciliation. The large number on display together made for a powerful representation of us being “All In” for reconciliation.

Morning Tea

Mrs Jade Daniel and her Stage 1 students produced a delicious spread, which used a range of Indigenous ingredients.

Library

Our library recognised National Reconciliation Week with learning activities related to the “All In” theme, and decorations using First Nations artwork and the colours of the Aboriginal flag. Students enjoyed immersing themselves in this rich learning environment.
